Bosque Farms Police Department
The Village of
Bosque Farms was incorporated in 1974. It is located in the
northern-most part of Valencia County, in central New Mexico. Valencia
County, one of our state’s fastest growing counties, is bordered to the
north by Bernalillo County, our state’s most populated county with
approximately 600,000 residents and home to Albuquerque, the State’s
largest city.
Bosque Farms is
approximately five square miles in size and is home to about 4,000
residents. We are considered a bedroom community of Albuquerque, with
most of our residents working in or near Albuquerque. Bosque Farms is
known for three basic things; its quiet residential streets, old-fashioned
country atmosphere, and the enormous amount of vehicle traffic on State
Road 47 that runs through the middle of town, estimated at 36,000
vehicles per day.
